*Pet Homes, Please Note*

Before buying a rabbit from a responsible breeder or impulse buying at a pet store, check your local Animal Shelters!  There are often rabbits of all shapes, sizes and personalities in desperate need of good homes.  As a bonus, most shelters send them out pre-neutered (huge savings and you already know they made it through!) and you can see their final, adult personality instead of gambling on a baby.  If you're not looking specifically for a quality purebred rabbit, see our "Rabbit Resources" page for some Animal Shelters around the Finger Lakes/Rochester Area.

Mini Rex Rabbits

We breed to produce friendly rabbits who adhere to the ARBA Standard of Perfection, with each new generation better than the last!  Not every kit has the right qualities to join our breeding herd, and those rabbits get a chance to join another rabbitry or become part of a pet family.

No boys available right now - check out your local shelters, or wait for the ARBA shows starting March 2025.

Just Fur Fun's Boops (ID1)             $80

Sable Variety

Sire: Family Pride's Impulse (OLH2) Sable

Dam: Just Fur Fun's Dot (JN1) Sable

DOB: 01/19/2025

Coat has very promising texture and density, colour is a bit dark now but we usually see this lighten as they get their Jr. coat in.

Brood-type showing very good depth and length to balance, strong width.

Would like to see just a bit shorter of a shoulder length and maybe more fullness over the loin.

*Boops is relatively laidback and curious, loves her snacks and to chill between exploring.*

Brood-type showing good depth and very good length to balance, good width.

Would like to see a bit more depth to accentuate her width.

*Bonks is very curious and, like her name, mainly explores by bonking things. Like her sister, she loves her snacks!*

Just Fur Fun's Mustacio (CP1)        $70

Blue Himalayan Variety (Pet)

Sire: Just Fur Fun's Cloudline (MC4) SmokePearl

Dam: Just Fur Fun's Petals (WN1) SablePoint

DOB: 01/18/2025

Fully named "Aardvark Mustacio The First (and Last)" due how she looked at two weeks old, Mustacio was a very special kit. Her fur was quite delayed in growing in: starting with her moustache, then her dust-mop of a belly, until finally filling in other than a bald spot on her head.  Now she has all her fur, just like a normal bun!

After reaching out to other breeders, the general consensus is that this is a random mutation that has a small chance of showing in future kits.  Her fur may also become extra plush as an adult, but should remain otherwise normal.  Because of the chance to pass to kits, we're recommending a pet/non-breeding home as thin/lack of fur (even if temporary) can lead to foot and skin problems and we feel the risk of it showing and maybe not outgrowing in future kits is not worth the breeding risk.

*Mustacio was worked with a little extra as a baby (while we tried to figure out how on earth to care for her skin), so is pretty laid back.  She's a good lap bunny for us and is quite inquisitive.*
